“He who has a why to live for can endure almost anyhow.”

Hello Everyone!

I have some very exciting news to share with you…Mark your calendars for September 18. This is the date my attorney, Jed Stone, will be filing our petition for post-conviction relief. Our entire legal and investigative team has worked tirelessly over the last several years, and we finally have indisputable proof of innocence and are ready to present it. And it is not simply one or two pieces of evidence, but an overwhelming amount. In just a few short weeks, everyone will have access to all of it. There is still some distance to go on this journey, but I am confident that after ten long years, some justice will finally be served.

This has been, and continues to be, a terrible nightmare for me, my children, and all of my family, friends, and loved ones. Their support and confidence has been critical through the years, and I hope they are aware of how much it means to me. Many of my neighbors do not have that support. My father especially has been my champion. His love and wisdom has, and continues to be, my greatest inspiration…I love you, Dad, with all my heart!

Friedrich Nietzsche said, “He who has a why to live for can endure almost anyhow.” I draw on these words of wisdom daily. Moving forward, I will have increasing “why’s” to look forward to!

Fortitudine vincimus!
